Our Childhood wasn't that far back When the world around us seemed so big And at the store out attention was lead to the toy rack Much different from what preset day puts in our sack Without fail though the years have gone by, giving no slack I watched my lil' sis grow, with tension in mind Through your later teens it was extremely hard to let go Seeing the ways of the world, it was obvious pain was easy to find And your battles I tried to fight, Hell, I'm your big bro Finally relizing this would put our relationship in a bind I let go, stepping back to let you grow But I am still here, this I hope you know I am a proudful brother, when I speak of my sister This I proclaim without a whisper Your strengths are for most to follow You stood tall, when others choose to fall A boy of twelve now is filled with something that otherwise would be hollow The love of a mother, sit back and swallow We advance to the birth of four miracles... Unfortunetly I've only allowed myself a mere glance But your work with them is amazing, this doesn't happen by chance I must move on now, for my eyes are glazing Your weakness' are not apparent in the big picture For the brush strokes you possess cover them without a care One day your family values I hope to share... Again I say I am a proud brother when I speak of my sister This I shout without a hint of a whisper Love ya Sister Written by, Kriss K. Williams 3 |
