When you look in a mirror,you see you,right?
Wrong you see what you want you to see--
The good looking guy,the smart guy,the guy
That's in touch with himself and the world.
Thats really there if its not you?
If you could see past the skin, the hair,
The flesh and bone, to the soul, the mind,
And the heart, how would you look then?
Would you see a man who really understands anything
about life, happiness, love?
Would you see a man who knows how imperfect he is?
A man who is offensive? A man who is capable of love?
Of caring? Of compassion?
You know...
It's funny, cause the only one that can
Answer that question is the man
Staring back at you!

Familiar words are spoken "When the time is right"
Yet, the years seem to escape me and somehow the chase continues
Painful experiences has got me worried that I have impaired sight
Faithfully I ask god to repair my eyes, spirit and virtues
Send me an angel, for lord I will patiently wait for her flight
Why has this task been so difficult? Why no menus?
With ingredients I would have the ability to run in fright.

Our Childhood wasn't that far back

One night I had a dream, it left a tale to tell. I dreamed I saw an angel, poor thing he wasn't well. His body bruised and battered, his wings were ripped and torn, I saw that he could barely walk, he looked so tired and worn. I walked right up and asked him, how can this be?
